Sessions
Process of classes
Our yoga sessions start with traditional 10 steps of sequential asanas incorporating vinyasa techniques (inhalation, exhalation, and retention of breath) that work like cardio. This will energise your body, burn calories, enhance flexibility, and improve body alignment.
Then we move on to traditional yoga asanas. It lubricates and massages the organs, joints, muscles, and other parts of the body, increasing blood circulation and flexibility. Every asana is based on specific holding time while also including the methods of ‘pranayama’. For every asana you will be guided and explained on what’s the impact on your body anatomy. This will give you full confidence and benefit from the practice.
From asanas we take you to ‘pranayama’ (breath control), ‘pratyahara’ (control of senses), leading to ‘dhyana’ (meditation). ‘Pranayama’ or breathing technique is very important in Yoga. You will learn some amazing ancient yoga breathing techniques. As you follow rhythmic pattern of slow deep breathing, it will strengthen the respiratory system and soothe the nervous system, setting the mind free for concentration.
We will teach you how to use these techniques in your everyday life.
Meditation increases your self-awareness, clears your mind from thoughts, leading you into a peaceful state. This is crucial because it will create balance, reduce stress, and increase your ability to make decisions by looking at any situation wholistically.
